01Which substrates are suitable for a polyurea coating?+
After professional assessment and preparation, polyurea can be applied to substrates including concrete, screed, metal, bitumen, GRP, timber and suitable existing coatings. A sound substrate, prepared for the specific project, is always essential.
02How soon can the coated area be used again?+
The material reacts within seconds. Depending on the coating system, area and final protective coat, the surface can usually withstand mechanical loads after a short period. Return to service is confirmed for each project.
03Can an existing roof be refurbished without complete removal?+
In many cases, yes. If the existing roof is sound and technically suitable, a compatible polyurea system can be applied directly to the prepared substrate. This reduces removal, disposal and construction time.
04Is polyurea suitable for pools and salt water?+
With the right system build-up and a suitable UV- and chemical-resistant protective coat, polyurea can be used for private and commercial water facilities. Water type, disinfection and intended use are considered in advance.
05How much does a polyurea coating cost?+
The price mainly depends on the area, substrate condition, junction details, preparation required and intended use. For an initial estimate, we need the location, approximate area and a few photos.
